Our In - House Educational WorkShop - "Effective Evaluation"
Thanks to our Vice - President of Education, Linn Loh, Lion City Toastmasters Term 2006/2007 held our very first In-House Educational WorkShop - Effective Evaluation!
Our member, *Ng Seng Chuan(ATM-Gold) gave us an insightful approach on improving our evaluation skills. Using various methods, coupled with his usual humorous persona, the energy level of the workshop peaked when members were given a chance to voice their opinions and asked questions on how to better evaluate a speaker.

* Ng Seng Chuan is a speech trainer by profession, specialising in public speaking and pronounciation courses. He has won the International Speech contest as well as Humourous Speech Contest up to District (South-East Asian) Level (2nd runner up at both events)
He also came in as first runner-up in the recent Impromptu Speech Contest in Singapore (2006)

Guest Speaker

Ramesh Muthusamy injected more vitality when he joined the Lion City Toast Masters Meeting as a Guest Speaker.
The former national debater '97-'98 spoke on his competiting piece. "Defining Moments. Defining Moments. Ramesh Muthusamy".
Dramatic, yet humorous. It was an energetic kick-start to the day's meeting!
Lion City ToastMasters Club wish him luck in the competition!

Table Topic

Member June Tan came up with a very creative method when she played the role of the Table Topic Master. Using foreign currencies as the topic, it was a refreshing approach! Kudos to June Tan!
