Goal Setting - Saving lives and Self-fulfilment

Saving lives and attaining a sense of fulfillment were the highlights of the night, as demonstrated by two speakers - LionCity Toastmasters Club, new member - Vincent Tan & Guest Speaker, Sim Tze Hong of Walton International Toastmasters Club

Vincent made his debut with his ice breaker speech. His confidence in his first speech was contagious as he held the audience attention in the palm of his hands as he spoke.
Definitely an impactful speaker in the making!

Guest Speaker, Sim, was speaking on " Tai - Ji" and how it can revitalise your organs - appealing to the audience to achieve a balance, healthy lifestyle through practicing "tai-ji". His specialty speech had the audience listen attentively and laughing in stitches through his humor but nonetheless, he was effective in employing sales tactics as required by the speech manual and fulfilling his Advanced Project #3 of "Selling A Product".

Sanjeev, our table topic master for the evening - leveraged on Mother's Day and formulated the table topics segment with the alphabets M.O.T.H.E.R.S.D.A.Y.
- giving the participants free rein to conjure the theme of their table topic, making the normally nerve-wrecking segment a breeze! Thanks Sanjeev

Our valiant guest, Siew Eng, was humorous as she participated spontaneously in the table topic segment, offering her slice of life "tibit"

Yet another achievement by Lion City Toastmasters, Josephine Teo, when she finished two educational segments in one night! Bravo Bravo!
