9 October 2006

With June Tan taking on the role as the ToastMaster of The Evening , Guek Eng started the session rolling with introducing the word “Deprecate”.

The club also had the privilege of 6 guests attending the meeting. 3 of whom hailed from AIA-Changi Toastmasters & 1 from SIA Toastmasters ; namely, AIA Changi Club President, Mr. James Keok , Ms Delia Wong ,Mr. Fernando Young and SIA's Shrida. Both Mr. Shrida and Ms Delia Wong did their prepared speeches from the Advanced Project Manual.

It was a welcoming sight to see Joey, a guest at a previous Toastmasters meeting, attended the night’s event alongside with her husband, Mr. S.K Ong – who was an extremely good sport and participated actively throughout the night’s meeting.

An Invitation!

There will be a BBQ cum Storytelling Night instead of our conventional Chapter meeting on the 23 Oct 2006 – celebrating the international event “TOASTMASTERS DAY”. It’s time to barbecue, binge and bond. Come with a ghost story, urban myth, a joke and a riddle!!
